About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Specialist to support U.S. Air Force test and evaluation activities in a high-impact operational environment. This role is ideal for a mid-career professional with a strong background in SIGINT and a solid technical foundation in radio frequency (RF) systems and electromagnetic spectrum operations. The selected candidate will contribute to mission-critical efforts involving signal analysis, RF system characterization, and signature management, supporting the development and evaluation of advanced Air Force capabilities. This position will require occasional travel in support of test and training activities.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (current and transferable).
  • 5–10+ years of relevant experience in military SIGINT, ISR, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of: Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum fundamentals.
  • RF propagation and electromagnetic principles.
  • Technical characteristics of RF waveforms (e.g., modulation types, bandwidth, spread spectrum).
  • Hands-on experience with SIGINT systems, signal analysis, or RF collection/processing.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in classified environments.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work across technical disciplines.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving mission requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting military test and evaluation (T&E) activities (DT/OT, exercises, or range events).
  • Familiarity with U.S. Air Force or joint test organizations.
  • Knowledge of operational signature management, performing signature management assessments, and/or reporting on signature management performance.
  • Experience in electronic warfare (EW) or spectrum operations integration.
  • Familiarity with RF analysis tools, spectrum analyzers, or SIGINT processing systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Prior military service in SIGINT, EW, ISR, or related specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Air Force programs involving RF systems, SIGINT, and spectrum operations.
  • Operate prototype hardware and analyze and characterize RF signals and waveforms, including modulation schemes, emitter identification, and signal behavior.
  • Support planning and execution of activities associated with electromagnetic spectrum operations and system performance evaluations.
  • Assist with development of technical documentation, analysis reports, and briefings.
  • Evaluate system signature management and emission characteristics in operationally relevant environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across government and contractor organizations.
  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to RF performance, detectability, and signal exploitation.
