About The Position

The SIGINT Instructor operates under the direction of the Lead Instructor and is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, practical, and airborne instruction in support of customer mission requirements. The instructor teaches SIGINT analysis concepts and provides technical expertise and guidance on complex analytical problems, with particular emphasis on advanced signals, signal characteristics, and associated weapons systems. The SIGINT Instructor develops, maintains, validates, and coordinates current and future course content, including lesson plans, practical exercises, examinations, computer-based training, and mission-focused scenarios. Responsibilities also include developing and executing training scenarios onboard aircraft to reinforce classroom instruction and provide students with realistic, mission-relevant application of SIGINT concepts and analytical techniques. The instructor monitors student performance, provides constructive feedback and remediation as required, and identifies opportunities to improve course content, instructional methods, and training effectiveness. The SIGINT Instructor works closely with the Lead Instructor and Course Development team to ensure instructional materials remain technically accurate, relevant to evolving mission requirements, and aligned with the approved Training Support Plan. The SIGINT Instructor is also responsible for maintaining a professional and engaging learning environment, supporting the accountability and proper use of training equipment, and performing assigned instructional duties at both primary and alternate training locations. All duties will be performed in accordance with organizational requirements, applicable customer guidance, and the DS Technologies Employee Handbook.

Requirements

  • Proficiently utilize Technical SIGINT analysis tools and software.
  • Formal classroom instructional experience.
  • Six (6) years of SIGINT collection and analysis experience.
  • Working knowledge of the SIGINT Enterprise.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret level clearance with Polygraph.
  • Pass an FAA Class III flight physical.
  • Must be able to obtain a passport.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Intelligence Studies) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Four (4) Years of experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) correlated to SIGINT and/or EW.
  • Instructor Certification (ADET, NCS, BIC, etc.).
  • Instructional Systems Design Certification.
  • Understanding of EW, SIGINT, and Cyber disciplines.
  • Veteran.

  • Conduct technical analysis of intelligence products.
  • Prepare classrooms and training resources.
  • Administer and proctor examinations.
  • Maintain accountability and operational awareness of training equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Instructor and Course Developer to maintain, update, and improve curriculum.
  • Develop and submit new or revised instructional content.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, analytical capabilities, and instructional tools.
  • Travel periodically to other locations to provide instructional support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Instructor.
