SIGINT Analyst- Subject Matter Expert
About The Position
GDIT seeks an exceptionally qualified SIGINT Subject Matter Expert (SME) with advanced SIGINT knowledge to support USSOCOM staff and subordinate or associated organizations. The SME applies expertise in intelligence disciplines, training and mission requirements to help identify and develop courses of action, recommend priorities, train team members, and provide technical knowledge for the long-term benefit of USSOCOM operations. The role requires communicating accurately and effectively with senior leadership and customers. The position requires global readiness and availability for no-notice deployment to hazardous duty or combat zones. Deployments may involve permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments and extended periods in austere conditions. The role is onsite at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with 25–50% travel and 40 scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of analytical experience within DoD or equivalent government agencies, including five years at the operational level.
- Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; the posting also lists Top Secret/SCI as the clearance currently required.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Valid U.S. passport.
- Advanced SIGINT knowledge and strong firsthand experience in SIGINT analysis, systems, tools, databases, reporting, and collection management.
- Expert-level targeting skills and knowledge of the F3EAD targeting cycle.
- High proficiency with current intelligence automation, applications, tools, and databases for analysis and product development.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and established SIGINT-related databases.
- Strong briefing skills and ability to effectively direct and influence SIGINT operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with current analytic tools, databases, and intelligence and operational systems.
- Ability to pass required pre-deployment medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens.
- Ability to obtain contract-required immunizations.
Nice To Haves
- Expert knowledge of SOF and/or counterterrorism (CT) intelligence experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Apply expert-level targeting skills and firsthand experience targeting networks and individuals within networks and identifying vulnerabilities for exploitation.
- Use a deep understanding of the F3EAD targeting cycle and current data, tools, and techniques for each targeting phase.
- Identify or confirm individuals, organizations, facilities, locations, trends, or patterns of interest associated with a high-value target or network in a collaborative environment.
- Coordinate SIGINT procedures with internal and external SIGINT activities to ensure collection, dissemination, and precision geo-location activities follow guidance and appropriate directives.
- Use NSA and other SIGINT analytical databases covering DNR and DNI-related technologies, as well as current SIGINT systems, databases, and software tools.
- Communicate with USSOCOM senior leadership and customers, recommend priorities and courses of action, train team members, and help direct and influence SIGINT operations.
- Maintain global readiness and be available for no-notice deployments, including to austere or hazardous environments.
