About the role Job Summary The SGTS Superintendent oversees the daily operations of the SGTS GT Division with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. They cultivate a positive work environment, drive technical advancement, and ensure effective collaboration with customers and stakeholders. This role also involves optimizing processes, managing budgets, and leading Health and Safety initiatives to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 15-20 plus years of Siemens V84 gas turbine field technical execution experience in project management and/or technical direction
  • Ability to manage a team of Siemens Technical specialists to execute all levels of scheduled and non-scheduled outage activities
  • Travel required to quote pending or executing projects
  • Sulzer in person office interface required on a balanced basis
  • Strong communication and leadership skills imperative
  • Fluent in business and project relative software’s

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering a plus
  • Additional Siemens gas turbine experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, prioritizing safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded by effectively managing costs, maximizing revenue streams, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment by actively engaging with employees, setting clear expectations, and promoting teamwork.
  • Drive technical advancement within the division by staying abreast of industry trends and continuously improving coating solutions.
  • Optimize work processes to enhance efficiency and profitability, ensuring alignment with monthly budgets.
  • Collaborate with customers, Sales Department, and vendors to meet project requirements and maintain strong relationships.
  • Coordinate scheduling and project timelines, regularly updating task status and completion dates for effective project management.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for Direct Reports and manage salary adjustments in line with company policies.
