About The Position

Zen Strategics, a Titan Technologies company, is seeking a SIEM Content Developer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The program provides specialized cyber defense analysis, cybersecurity content development, vulnerability management, and operational technology cybersecurity support. The role focuses on developing threat detection content, improving SIEM functionality and data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen security analytics and alerting.

Requirements

• Possess a current DOD Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at the time of proposal submission.
• Five years of relevant IT experience.
• Three years working with a SIEM in a content development or Incident Response role.
• Three years of System and/or Network Administration experience.
• Understanding of various log formats.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong understanding of network architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts; PowerShell, Python, or SPL is preferred.
• Understanding of Defense-in-Depth.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop threat detection use cases based on emerging threats, threat intelligence research, and feedback from Threat Detection Analysts.
• Work with stakeholders and cybersecurity tool subject-matter experts to identify gaps in security protection and analytics capabilities.
• Develop custom scripts to enhance SIEM functionality.
• Review the quality of data feeds and recommend or implement improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical systems and application components, set alerting priorities, and create signatures tailored to individual programs and applications.
