About The Position

The Siding Project Manager will oversee J&S siding production/jobsites, provide customer service, manage production teams and subcontractors, handle scheduling, process weekly timecards for payroll, and ensure an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team. This role involves driving to job sites to oversee crews and deliver materials, contributing to company objectives, improving profitability and productivity, verifying manufacturer installation requirements, conducting employee reviews, and resolving employee issues.

Requirements

BS in operational management or similar relevant field and/or equivalent work experience in field
Siding experience (siding knowledge of all products especially on Hardy & LP)
Construction and Management experience (3-5 years preferred)
Valid driver’s license and be insurable
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed

Responsibilities

Oversee J&S siding production/jobsites
Provide customer service
Oversee production teams
Scheduling
Weekly timecards for payroll
Oversee subcontractors
Maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion
Supervise crews
Manage direct reports/teams
Monitor and analyze projects
Monitor jobsite efficiency
Perform onsite quality control checks
Inspect job sites prior to onset of jobs
Perform a final quality walk
Oversee the production schedule
Oversee the sales schedule for starting new projects
Employee timecard verification for payroll
Verification for subcontractors pay
Assist in interviewing/hiring for J&S Siding positions
Driving to job sites to oversee crews and deliver materials
Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives
Strive to improve profitability and increase productivity of crews
Verify manufacturer installation requirements are met
Responsible for employee reviews
Interact with employees and resolve employee issues
