Siding Installer - Savannah
About The Position
Southern Industries Home Improvement is hiring an experienced Siding Installer in Pooler, Georgia. The company is family-owned and has operated for more than 50 years, completing more than 300,000 projects for over 200,000 homeowners across five states. Installers help homeowners improve the appearance and durability of their homes while representing the company’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. This is a subcontractor/1099 position with commission-based earning potential of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and project volume. The company provides consistent year-round work, all materials, and support from its production team. A W-2 position may be a fit for applicants without a FEIN.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience is preferred in installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, or siding, or in the home improvement industry.
- A FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) is needed for the subcontractor/1099 arrangement; applicants without one may be a fit for a W-2 position.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work at heights, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on the jobsite.
Nice To Haves
- Experience installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, or siding, or experience in the home improvement industry; a minimum of two years is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Measure according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately for a clean, precise finish.
- Deliver craftsmanship and attention to detail during each installation.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners to support a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Coordinate materials, scheduling, and inspections with production staff.
- Complete projects on time and promptly report issues or delays.
- Represent Southern Industries professionally on site.
