About The Position

Tacheny Exteriors is a fourth-generation, family-owned home remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, soffit and fascia, and decks. The company is expanding its W2 crew and seeks motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals who value quality, teamwork, and long-term success. The Siding Installer helps execute high-quality exterior remodeling projects, including installations and repairs. The installer works closely with a lead installer and site supervisor to complete projects efficiently, safely, and in accordance with Tacheny standards. This is a hands-on, full-time position with opportunities for training, advancement, and year-round employment. Pay is $23–$30 per hour, based on experience. Employment offers are contingent on a background check.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in construction or exterior remodeling.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
Manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of roofing, siding, windows and doors, soffit and fascia.
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and job site procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support quality control through proper installation techniques.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew leads and customers.
Participate in training and development sessions to grow technical skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
