About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing shuttle operations at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. The Shuttle Supervisor ensures scheduled service times and operational standards are met, maintains the cleanliness and condition of vehicles and facilities, and provides professional customer service. The position also involves performing shuttle, valet, attendant, or cashier duties as needed, and demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least one year of related parking and/or customer service experience.
  • Motivated individual willing to take on new challenges, with experience in Customer Service or the Hospitality Industry.
  • Roll-up-the-sleeved, get stuff done type of person that is organized, honest and thoughtful.
  • Trustworthy, loyal and dependable.
  • Self-sufficient, resourceful, collaborative and decisive.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required inspections on each shuttle and promptly report any safety, mechanical, or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Monitor shuttle operations and ensure scheduled service times and operational standards are consistently maintained.
  • Maintain and monitor the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned facilities, shuttle vehicles, and valet areas.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers, passengers, and team members.
  • Perform shuttle, valet, attendant, or cashier duties as needed to support daily operations.
  • Park and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting with operational needs and maintaining a positive, professional work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
