About The Position

Performance Foodservice is a broadline distributor serving local customers such as independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. The Shuttle Driver transports empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and delivers full trailers to domicile or shuttle yard locations. The role involves driving tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. Drivers communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers and perform other assigned duties to support the company. The position pays $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with a quarterly performance incentive of $450 and a $200 kicker; earning all four quarters results in $2,000. Required work is also described as a third-shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday nights, with schedules subject to variation. Training lasts five weeks in Temple, Texas. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered subject to terms; people who worked for a PFG-owned company within the previous six months are ineligible for that incentive.
