About The Position

The Shuttle Driver moves finished product through the Sauder complex safely and efficiently. The position requires a CDL and regular attendance.

Requirements

• A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload live bed trailers from and to conveyors.
• Drop and hook trailers.
• Maintain radio communications with the shuttle dispatcher.
• Verify equipment is in safe working condition and notify the dispatcher when repairs are needed.
• Transport material safely, verify gates are in place, and ensure product is secure.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Contribute toward setting and achieving goals consistent with Process, Department, and Company goals.
• Work continuously to improve safety, quality, productivity, relations, and work skills.
• Communicate effectively to build strong, positive team relations.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a three-shift team and with other teams on the same shift.
• Maintain regular attendance.
