About The Position

As the Shuttle Driver, you are the first and last impression of the hotel. Your customer service is very important as you provide transportation to and from the property. You must be able to have flexible availability and be able to work early morning shifts on Sundays, with a 3:45 AM start time. Other shifts are flexible based on the needs of the hotel. You must have a clean driving record for 3 years previous to hire and must maintain a clear driving record during employment.

Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Passing the MVR is mandatory (no accidents and tickets for the past three (3) years).
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have flexible availability.
• Able to work early morning shifts on Sundays, 3:45 AM start time.
• Maintain a clear driving record during employment.

Responsibilities

• Drives company van to transport guest to and from the property according to assigned schedule.
• Assists passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report status of service.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• When not operating shuttle, will assist guest with luggage in and out of the hotel.
• Ensure bell carts are free of trash.
• Ensure trash in entrance is emptied.
