About The Position

WildSide is seeking seasonal Shuttle Drivers to operate vehicles transporting guests and bikes up the mountain. The role requires knowledge of TDOT regulations, a strong commitment to guest and employee safety, and a respectful, positive attitude while on duty. Drivers must be able to operate a van for extended periods and work in all-weather conditions.

Requirements

• Current driver's license.
• F endorsement on license required after the first 30 days of employment.
• Clean three-year motor vehicle record.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 51 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to operate a van for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply with all DOT-related requirements.
• Participate in random drug testing.
• Transport guests and their bikes on mountain paths.
• Help direct guests and employees.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all parts of vehicles and the bike trailer.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and checklists.
• Complete and maintain daily pre- and post-vehicle inspections.
• Work with the vehicle mechanic to maintain all vehicles.
• Document maintenance needs.
• Track visits both up and down the park.
• Become familiar with all products and activities offered by Anakeesta.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
