SHUTTLE DRIVER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Shuttle Driver to provide transportation for passengers in a designated area for a client. The driver operates a van or shuttle along scheduled or dispatched routes and is expected to interact professionally with passengers while delivering exceptional customer service. The position is at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. The schedule is full time, with listed shifts of 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.; days may vary. Further schedule details are provided during the interview. The pay range is $16.00 to $16.85 per hour. Training is offered.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and operate company vehicles safely in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
- Previous experience driving a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of approximately 10 to 19,500 pounds is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- One to two years of relevant customer service or driving experience.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to multitask and adjust to changes quickly.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers along designated routes according to schedule or dispatch.
- Review and submit vehicle work tickets when required.
- Clean vehicles daily and perform basic maintenance, such as filling the gas tank and adding fluids, as needed.
- Respond to emergencies involving road, vehicle, traffic, or environmental conditions.
- Provide overall support and customer service to all facets of the operation.
- Provide management with feedback on how services may be improved.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
