About The Position

The Shuttle Driver provides transportation to passengers by driving a van or shuttle within a designated area for a client. The driver is expected to interact and communicate professionally with passengers while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. Schedules include shifts from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., or 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.; days may vary. The pay range is $16.00 to $16.85 per hour. Training is available.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
Previous experience driving a vehicle with a GVWR of approximately 10 to 19,500 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years old.
One to two years of relevant customer service or driving experience.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to multitask and adjust to changes quickly.

Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers along designated routes according to a schedule or dispatch.
Review and submit vehicle work tickets when required.
Clean vehicles daily and perform basic maintenance, such as filling gas and adding fluids, as needed.
Respond to emergencies involving road, vehicle, traffic, or environmental conditions.
Provide operational support and customer service.
Provide feedback to management on ways to improve services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
