About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Shuttle Bus Driver for our Baby Steps program located within the Edgewood Hospital. The Shuttle Bus Driver operates a shuttle bus in a manner that ensures the safe transportation of Associates and Customers from parking areas to our facilities. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by the Hospital insurance carrier
• Must be able to safely operate a 14-passenger bus
• Customer Service skills
• Experience operating similar type vehicles

Responsibilities

• Transport Associates and Customers safely to and from parking areas and hospital facilities, utilizing safe driving techniques
• Practice good customer service skills
• Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned.
