About The Position
US Foods is seeking a Shuttle Driver to join their team. This role involves safely driving trucks to and from remote dispatch sites and may require performing duties of a Backhaul or Delivery Driver. The position emphasizes safe operation, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and adherence to all DOT qualifications. Requirements
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- 6 months commercial driving experience required
- Doubles endorsement required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
- Must be comfortable working overnight
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
