Shuttle Driver | Up to $20/Hr & Weekends Off | North Scottsdale
About The Position
The Shuttle Driver provides safe and reliable transportation for guests to and from the Christian Brothers Automotive shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. The driver operates a branded company vehicle, follows traffic laws and safety procedures, offers courteous customer service, and helps guests get in and out of the shuttle. The role also supports the shop with parts processing and errands, keeps the shuttle clean and organized, and reports needed vehicle servicing to the service manager. This position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The posting describes an independently owned and operated local franchise location; if hired, the local franchisee is the employer.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and guests.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a team mentality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Dependability for the Monday-through-Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, and occasionally balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Close, distance, peripheral, and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable shuttle service for guests in the branded company vehicle.
- Treat guests respectfully and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist passengers with getting in and out of vehicles.
- Keep shuttle routes timely.
- Assist the shop with receiving and processing incoming and outgoing parts and completing other errands as needed.
- Notify the service manager when the shuttle requires servicing, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, or general maintenance.
- Keep the shuttle tidy and organized.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Learn automotive repair service terminology and processes.
