About The Position

The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to haul empty trailers to the Roseburg Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to where the shift started. Drivers must maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property. Drivers will conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work.

Requirements

• Acceptable MVR record
• One to three years commercial driving experience
• Class A CDL License required and must have a doubles endorsement
• Current medical certificate card
• Register and give specific permission for the prospective employer to get their drug and alcohol screening results before they will be able to be hired by that employer (per FMCSA)

Nice To Haves

• Grocery distributing experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
• Haul empty trailers to the Lacey Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to Mt Vernon.
• Maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property
• Conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work
• Other duties as assigned by manager
