CDL-A Shuttle Driver
About The Position
The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to haul empty trailers to the Roseburg Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to where the shift started. This role involves conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer, hauling empty trailers to the Lacey Distribution Center, unhooking empty trailers, hooking up loaded trailers, and hauling them back to the starting point. Drivers must maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property, using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all DOT mandated regulations. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Acceptable MVR record
- One to three years commercial driving experience
- Class A CDL License required and must have a doubles endorsement
- Current medical certificate card
- Ability to physically complete physical requirements of job
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles (semi-trucks and trailers up 53 feet, solo trucks, vans, etc.), use a hand truck, use a pallet jack, walk boards, stay bars, etc.
- Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment
- Drivers must register and give specific permission for the prospective employer to get their drug and alcohol screening results before they will be able to be hired by that employer, as required by the FMCSA.

Responsibilities

- Maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property
- Conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work
