About The Position
Operates bus, transports passengers in a safe and timely and courteous manner, communicates with and assist passengers. This is a part-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The role requires adherence to a strict schedule and maintaining a clean vehicle.
Requirements
- Must possess commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum three years driving experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superb customer service skills a must.
- High school graduate and/or equivalency preferred, but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Parking experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operates bus and transports passengers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Communicates with and assists passengers.
- Reports to work on time, as required.
- Works to a very exact time schedule.
- Deals with faculty/staff and students effectively.
- Is courteous, friendly, and helpful toward all passengers and the public in general.
- Works as a cooperative team member with fellow employees and supervisors.
- Must not deviate from route at any time unless advised by a Supervisor.
- Must keep interior of the bus clean.
- Must complete a thorough Pre-Trip Inspection each day.
