About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time opportunities to start immediately. The Shuttle Driver will drive a shuttle bus and transport customers to and from the facility. This role involves greeting passengers, providing assistance with loading and unloading, and operating the shuttle bus safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. The driver will also monitor vehicle condition, communicate with dispatchers and other employees via a two-way radio system, conduct pre/post trip inspections, and monitor traffic and weather conditions. Reporting accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor is also a key responsibility. All customers are to be treated in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements

  • You are at least 21 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
  • You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
  • You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
  • Do you have a DOT medical card?

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service: 1 year+
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+

Responsibilities

  • Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
  • Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
  • Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
  • Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  • Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  • Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
