Requirements

  • Less than High School education; or one month of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable DMV record.
  • Availability to work 3rd shift (overnight) and/or weekends may be required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using American currency.
  • Employees must maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors, and handle fueling as needed.
  • Log trip counts accurately and assist passengers with luggage or other travel items (especially in airport locations).
  • Courteously assist customers with questions and provide directions. Escalate complex issues to the Facility Manager when necessary.
  • Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, oil spills, debris, or violations of company policy to the garage office or manager.
  • Provide necessary assistance to disabled passengers.
