About The Position

Under the leadership of the security department director and the shuttle supervisor, the shuttle driver is responsible for driving staff to and from work from designated locations in the community while abiding by all traffic laws. The shuttle driver is responsible for enforcing all established hospital policies and procedures. Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in driving large shuttle buses is required.
• Able to drive standard and automatic preferred.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a valid California class A or B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• An acceptable driving record of three points or less.
• Participation in the DMV pull-notice program.
• Able to be flexible with work schedule.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
