About The Position

LaRiche Chevrolet Cadillac is hiring a part-time service department Shuttle Driver / Porter. The position follows a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule. During the week on, hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, for a total of 42.5 hours. The employee must work outside in all kinds of weather.

The role supports dealership customers by providing transportation and maintaining a professional, safe, and timely customer experience. It also includes lot maintenance, light building maintenance and cleaning, dealership errands, and keeping the work area and shuttle vehicles clean and organized.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Be a team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and MVR check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform light building maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain the dealership lot.
• Offer customers transportation to and from their destination.
• Drive cautiously and safely while following the laws of the road.
• Ensure customers have a professional, stress-free, and timely experience while being transported.
• Drive customers’ vehicles respectfully.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shuttle vehicles.
• Run various dealership errands.
