Imports Shuttle and Parts Driver
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver and Parts Delivery person to join their team at Kendall Audi, BMW, Porsche of Bend. This role supports the Service Department by providing transportation for clients and assisting the Parts Department with shipping and receiving duties. The position involves receiving and storing shipments, stocking inventory, ensuring accuracy, delivering parts, driving a parts truck for in-town deliveries, moving service vehicles between dealerships, preparing shipments, and maintaining shipping records. The role requires courteous driving, familiarity with city streets, map reading, and GPS usage. Coordination with vehicle operations and scheduling for efficiency and client satisfaction are also key aspects of the job. The work environment is generally indoors but may occasionally be outdoors, with potential exposure to shop conditions like varying temperatures, noise, fumes, and dust. Physical demands include sitting for up to half the shift, occasional bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level.
Requirements
- Ability to drive cars, vans, and large SUVs.
- Driver License.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to read maps and signs.
- Ability to use a GPS navigation device.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for clients between in-town locations.
- Receive and store arriving shipments.
- Stock in all items and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Deliver parts to appropriate parties.
- Drive parts truck to in-town locations.
- Assist with moving service vehicles between dealer locations.
- Prepare parts and materials for shipment.
- Maintain shipping records.
- Coordinate with vehicle operation and schedule pick up/drop off times for efficiency and client satisfaction.
