The Shunt Driver is responsible for weighing live trailers, changing trailers in the receiving bay, monitoring the health of live birds, maintaining the yard, documenting HACCP monitoring, communicating deviations to management, and ensuring compliance with the Animal Welfare program. This role also includes washing down trucks, snow removal, and lawn care duties as needed. The position requires working in varying temperatures and damp conditions, with a need for self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
