Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This is a full-time position, working up to 45 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. The hours of work may change from time to time according to operational demands. This role reports directly to the Shunt Coordinator and Yard Services Supervisor. The essential responsibilities include trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quality checks, and trailer greasing, along with other assigned tasks. The driver will be responsible for handling all incoming requests to the Winnipeg shunt team on their assigned shift and managing all trailer movements during that shift. Close collaboration with the Shunt Coordinator, City Dispatch, Maintenance, and the Warehouse is required for daily shunting activities. Candidates must be comfortable with smartphone technology for emailing, texting, and internet use. Bison Transport is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
