About The Position
Operates shredder machinery that heats and chops materials into small pieces for various uses.
Requirements
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to frequently work with heights.
- Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
- Team player dedicated to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with supervisor for daily operation schedule.
- Perform preparations for start-up and shout-down in accordance with established procedures.
- Opens hatch of machine to accommodate materials dumped into machine.
- Closes and secures hatch and starts machine.
- Turns valves and observes thermometers to maintain temperature of product at plant standard, observe computer, push control buttons, and use joy sticks to operate.
- Stops machine after prescribed time for unloading.
- Work area housekeeping.
