The Showroom Team Lead will drive sales by leading the team to meet and exceed daily revenue and metric-based goals. This role supports the execution of showroom key performance metrics, including sales targets, conversion rates, UPT, and average order value (AOV). The Team Lead will assist in managing customer appointments and walk-in traffic to maximize sales opportunities, and hold team members accountable for achieving personal and team-based KPIs. They will provide guidance and coaching to team members in the moment to enhance performance and customer interactions, and actively contribute to building relationships with high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service. The Team Lead will also assist with daily operational tasks, including floor management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow. They will serve as the acting leader on the sales floor during the absence of the Showroom Manager, and maintain a seamless customer experience by ensuring operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Solving customer issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset, bringing forward feedback and ideas to improve showroom operations and merchandise presentation, and overseeing opening and closing procedures are also key responsibilities. Routine checks to ensure all operational and safety standards are met during opening and closing are required. The role also involves conducting accurate fittings and pinning sessions, managing and completing customer appointments efficiently, and overseeing the fitting process by holding the team accountable for quality and efficiency. Collaboration with tailors and alteration specialists, and educating customers on the fitting process are essential. The Team Lead will support the onboarding and training of new Style Guides, mentor and guide team members, foster a positive, collaborative team environment, and provide ongoing feedback and encouragement. Leading by example in delivering a seamless and unforgettable customer experience, managing escalated customer concerns, and upholding and modeling Indochino’s customer experience standards are crucial. Finally, the Team Lead will identify and act on opportunities to improve showroom performance and customer satisfaction, contribute innovative ideas, and act as a subject matter expert on fit, product knowledge, and customer experience.
