About The Position

This is a hands-on, physically active part-time position focused on supporting the showroom, assisting with furniture movement, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment for customers and team members. You will work closely with store leadership to ensure the store remains clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
  • Must be a team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Must have reliable transportation to work at both Clearwater and Pinellas Park locations

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Visual Merchandiser or Store Manager with setting up furniture displays and maintaining the showroom’s appearance
  • Move and arrange furniture throughout the showroom and warehouse
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and loading and unloading trucks
  • Perform floor moves of existing furniture and placement of new furniture
  • Aim showroom lighting and replace bulbs as needed
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain showroom floors
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, and common spaces
  • Wash windows and glass surfaces to keep displays looking their best
  • Dust furniture and décor displays
  • Remove trash and break down cardboard from deliveries
  • Help keep the stockroom and showroom clean, organized, and safe
