Requirements

  • Willingness to work occasional Saturdays.

  • Ability to develop long-lasting relationships in the local Architecture and Design community.
  • Understand and regularly execute income-generating activities that deliver consistent financial results for both the company and the design consultant.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or business discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Building meaningful and long-term customer relationships.
  • Have comprehensive proficiency ranging in stone, tile, and plumbing knowledge to design trends in the luxury market.
  • Use “relationship selling” techniques through design consultations in residential new construction and high-end renovations to maximize selling opportunities.
  • Take pride in the design process!
  • In-House Lunch & Learns: 3-5 in-house Lunch & Learns per branch per quarter are hosted by you and focused on building relationships with associates, designers, builders, and partners.
  • Individual Event Participation - Each DC must attend 2 industry-related events per quarter.
  • Business Development / Hunting: Customer visits, prospecting, and active hunting for new business should be reflected on the calendar when applicable. These activities are a critical part of building long-term, repeat business.
