Requirements

Professional personal appearance.
Strong verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Basic math, reading, writing, and typing skills.
Ability to use a computer and a 10-key calculator.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Responsibilities

Answer all incoming calls and properly transfer them to the appropriate person and/or department.
Communicate with callers professionally, friendly, and efficiently, minimizing hold times.
Take thorough messages, including caller's first and last name, company name (if applicable), callback number, time, and the message content.
Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Provide basic information to callers with general inquiries.
Notify Sales Managers of telephone outages or operational difficulties.
Perform clerical and other duties as needed.
Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit (post-remodel).
Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate salesperson of a waiting customer, or introduce the customer to a salesperson (post-remodel).
