An established luxury interior design firm in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Showroom & Marketing Coordinator to join its team. The company operates a furniture and home furnishings showroom serving retail customers and interior design professionals. This position combines showroom operations, retail and trade sales, social media marketing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for design, and is comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales, showroom operations, social media marketing, or a related field.
Experience creating and managing social media content for a business or brand.
Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, and other content creation tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for design.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities.
Comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and trade professionals.
Proficiency with basic office software.
Reliable transportation for occasional local errands.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits, vendor meetings, and installations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring the space is organized, welcoming, and ready for customers.
Manage showroom opening and closing procedures.
Greet and assist retail customers, interior designers, and trade professionals.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective trade clients.
Assist customers with product selections, pricing, availability, and purchases.
Prepare quotes, respond to inquiries, and follow up on sales opportunities.
Maintain showroom displays, merchandising, and product presentation.
Coordinate product orders, availability, and deliveries with vendors and internal team members.
Assist with inventory organization and tracking.
Identify opportunities to increase showroom traffic, retail sales, and trade business.
Create and manage social media content for both the interior design firm and its retail showroom.
Develop and maintain content calendars and consistent posting schedules.
Produce Instagram posts, stories, reels, and other digital content.
Photograph and film showroom products, new arrivals, design projects, and behind-the-scenes activities.
Edit photos and videos to maintain a polished and consistent brand image.
Write captions and assist with social media engagement and inquiries.
Collaborate with the design team to coordinate project photography and marketing content.
Support promotional campaigns, showroom events, and marketing initiatives.
Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement.
Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide professional customer service.
Greet visitors, clients, vendors, and delivery personnel.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and showroom visits.
Provide general administrative support to the operations and design teams.
Handle occasional local pickups, drop-offs, and errands.
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, samples, and merchandise.
Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
Support additional operational tasks as needed.
