About The Position

The Showroom Manager develops and manages an operating budget for the showroom and also develops and achieves a sales budget for the showroom to increase company sales and profitability. The manager develops and leads the showroom team by hiring, training, coaching and providing feedback.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years work experience as a Design Specialist
Strong customer service and/or problem-solving skills
Must be results oriented and willing to be accountable for results
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Available to work weekday or weekend overtime as required

Responsibilities

Keep displays current; sell old displays
Plan and coordinate installation of new displays
Assist Marketing Manager with Marketing functions for showroom, to include all forms of advertising media and special events
Participate as a member of the Showroom Marketing Group
Establish strong client relationships for the purpose of repeat and referral business
Assist customers in the selection of plumbing products, cabinetry, countertops and other related products
Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between ordered product and customers’ needs and desires
Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services
Maintain accurate and organized customer files; review the files regularly to ensure superior customer service
Follow company policies and procedures
Coordinate special events sponsored by showroom
Coordinate and supervise special projects such as trade shows, home shows and Parade of Homes
Hire, train, supervise, assist and evaluate showroom personnel
Schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage during sales hours
Develop and manage an operating and sales budget for the showroom.
Serve as liaison between showroom and other departments
Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook
Other duties as assigned
