About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the logistics of the showroom, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of products. The Showroom Logistics Rep will play a key role in maintaining the showroom's presentation and supporting the sales team by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of samples and products.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and inventory management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the luxury goods or interior design industry.
Familiarity with carpet and rug types and handling procedures.
Experience with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the receiving, stocking, and distribution of carpet and rug samples.
Manage inventory of showroom samples, ensuring accuracy and organization.
Prepare and pack samples for client presentations and designer requests.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of showroom displays and events.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom storage areas.
Liaise with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Support the sales team with logistical needs, including sample retrieval and delivery tracking.
Handle any damages or discrepancies in inventory and report them to management.
Operate company vehicles for local deliveries and pickups as needed.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
