About The Position

Global Furniture Group is seeking an entry-mid level professional to manage their Irvine showroom and coordinate US-based meetings and events. The role involves coordinating showroom appointments, managing calendars, conducting tours for dealers and visitors, answering phones, and fielding inquiries. A key aspect of the position is to increase awareness and interest in Global's brand, products, and capabilities among designers and end-users.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to negotiate with outside vendors and maintain budgets.
  • Ability to plan food and beverage for multiple types of events.
  • Ability to think outside the box with the creative team.
  • Ability to perform routine showroom maintenance, update product displays, and manage event preparation, including food service, procurement, presentation, and clean-up.
  • Ability to maintain showroom, customer, presentation, and guest logs, budgets & spreadsheets.
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain building and catering supplies.
  • Ability to assist marketing/design department with daily administration, team projects, and daily organizational tasks.
  • Ability to assist in the sales process working collaboratively with Territory Manager and other sales team members.
  • Ability to engage with & communicate brand, products & services with dealers, designers, and project managers/brokers.
  • Ability to increase awareness & interest among dealers, designers & end-users of company products.
  • Ability to identify/involve company in projects that best suit its products, services & capabilities.
  • Ability to manage house accounts in the market and periodically go out to dealers/vendors to follow up as needed.
  • Ability to ensure appropriate relationships are developed with key influencers.
  • Energetic personality with ability to plan, prepare & host showroom events.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
  • AutoCAD, CAP or Giza experience.
  • Interior Design or experience in the Commercial/Office furniture industry.

Responsibilities
