This is a 1 year maternity leave contract. Each resume submitted gets individually reviewed by our team and retained for 24 months if other new and exciting opportunities arise that match your skills and qualifications.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience required
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
- Requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- This position requires the result of a satisfactory criminal record check. A record under the Criminal Code and/or other federal offence record(s) does not automatically mean you will be ineligible for the position.
Nice To Haves
- A flair for design or design background is preferred
- Computer proficiency an asset
- Knowledge of the plumbing or lighting industry an asset
- Post-Secondary experience in Business or a related program preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with a professional, approachable and informative service on all products (plumbing and lighting)
- Identify customer needs & wants and provide a consultative/solution based service
- Collaborate on design planning with creative & tailored recommendations (contractors and customers)
- Develop quotations, process sales orders, manage deliveries and returns
- Respond to all customer inquiries and action new opportunities
- Resolve all concerns & issues
