About The Position

Spring Hill Animal Clinic is hiring a Short Term Stay Veterinarian to provide medical care at a specified hospital location in Spring Hill, Florida. The role offers flexible assignments and scheduling, including the ability to choose locations and time periods, with extended breaks or back-to-back assignments. It is intended for veterinarians seeking a change of location or pace, added stability with flexibility, a gradual transition toward retirement, a return to clinical work, or an opportunity to explore a practice without a long-term commitment or noncompete. Travel costs and short-term housing are supported through a monthly stipend for veterinarians who reside 60 or more miles from the hospital. Compensation is a competitive daily rate, and the veterinarian is employed as a W-2 employee. The position focuses on clinical practice rather than administrative management, and offers a three-day work week. Assignments are for a 90-day term, with the ability to renew; transition to a permanent role may be possible by mutual interest. Spring Hill Animal Clinic serves Spring Hill and surrounding communities and describes its culture as collaborative, with varied medical and surgical cases. The veterinarian will work with the clinical team and leadership, support staff development through the internal LevelUp training program, and represent AVG with professionalism and compassion.
