About the Job: The Senior Mine Engineer will report to the Mine Engineering Superintendent and is responsible for supervising the development of weekly mine plans, stope drill and blast packages, plan reconciliations, backfill designs, and operations support. The Senior Mine Engineer will also assist in the yearly reserve and budget creation. There are several distinct ore bodies on the property which are steep, to sub-vertical dipping series of complex stacked shear veins in the host Diorite, containing quartz filled ore structures. The schedule for this position is 15 days on at the remote mine site located about 45-miles north of Juneau, accessible only through company transportation, and 13 days off.
