About The Position
Company Wrench is seeking a dedicated, career-minded Shop/Yard Assistant to support shop and yard operations and provide customer service. The role involves organizing and cleaning the work area, photographing and documenting equipment, preparing equipment for rental or sale, handling parts and supplies, and assisting technicians as needed. The position is located in Monroe, Ohio.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good communication skills.
- Good, safe work habits.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Good computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a shop environment or outdoors is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and organize the shop and yard.
- Take rental photos of incoming and outgoing equipment and check arriving equipment for damage.
- Take website photos of equipment.
- Upload rental paperwork and equipment photos.
- Pressure wash heavy equipment.
- Clean rental units inside and out.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Pull orders and help with shipping as needed.
- Drive to pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed.
- Prepare sold and rental equipment as needed.
- Add and remove machine attachments as needed.
- Assist technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
