Pape’ Rents, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled and driven Rental Shop Technician to join their team in City of Industry, CA. This role involves working on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring accurate and timely repairs to maximize customer uptime.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Execute necessary repairs or component replacements, including rebuilding or replacing complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as part of certain repairs.
• Work alongside skilled technicians in a fully equipped shop.
