Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on furniture received from Ashley or returned from customer deliveries.
Assemble new components and install parts according to specifications, ensuring proper functionality before deployment.
Conduct detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns and test repaired furniture to verify performance and compliance with standards.
Track and manage parts inventory, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate records of usage.
Communicate findings, repair status, and recommendations to supervisors or management in a timely manner.
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assist internal teams with technical questions and collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs efficiently.
Suggest process improvements to enhance shop efficiency and overall service quality.
Stay current on new repair techniques, tools, and product updates relevant to furniture restoration.
Support delivery resolution efforts by preparing repaired or reconditioned product for redeployment to guests.
