About The Position
The Shop Technician performs service maintenance and quality repairs on CASE agricultural machinery and related equipment in a shop environment. The position diagnoses and troubleshoots engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems, and structural components, including welding. Technicians document work and service reports using basic computer systems, follow safety protocols, and support dealership objectives through additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with heavy equipment.
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Welding and structural repair experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
