About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Shop Technician to maintain and service fire protection equipment. The role involves ensuring all fire protection products are in optimal working condition, completing assigned tasks efficiently, and adhering to company safety goals. This position reports to the Impact Field Supervisor and is responsible for regularly scheduled maintenance on fire protection products, meeting weekly productivity goals, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
  • The ability to perform physical activities outlined in accompanying physical requirements checklist.
  • Satisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug test.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Fire protection or plumbing experience is a plus.
  • Project coordination and scheduling experience.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Field Supervisor.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment and take inventory.
  • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Field Supervisor.
  • Support field operations in addition to supporting the purchasing department.
