Assemble increasingly complex equipment/products with limited supervision according to standard operating procedures. Read, interpret and follow standard engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials and other verbal/written work instructions/procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when required. Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sequence sheets and visual aids. Set up and operate a variety of machinery, tooling and test equipment; perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard operating procedures. Verify quality of product produced in accordance with manufacturing work instructions. Complete and document all work via a product traveler. Liaise with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems. Rework and/or repair assembled standard equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. May have previous exposure of product lines manufactured or serviced by Warrior. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Skilled in final inspections, safety and materials handling. Maintains a clean and safe work environment; provides aid to senior shop technicians when required. Assist Lead Technicians and Shop Manager with additional maintenance tasks as assigned.
