About The Position

The Shop Tech is responsible for managing the accurate flow of rental equipment in and out of the warehouse. This role ensures high operational efficiency by precisely pulling, scanning, and staging outbound orders, as well as checking in, inspecting, and restocking returning gear. A successful Shop Tech maintains meticulous tracking records, ensures safe warehouse loading operations, and supports inventory accuracy.

Monitor daily inbound order lists within Rental Tracker
Perform physical hand counts on all non-barcoded items
Scan returned gear back into the Rental Tracker system
Inspect all gear thoroughly to confirm working condition
Restock equipment to its designated correct warehouse locations
Report missing or unreturned gear immediately
Secure signatures on all checkout and check-in paperwork
Scan completed paperwork into the RTPro system
Assist with physical inventory audits and routine cycle counts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace

Responsibilities

Monitor daily outbound order lists within the Rental Tracker system to prioritize upcoming shipments.
Verify gear counts meticulously against order specifications to guarantee 100% order accuracy.
Scan gear into Rental Tracker to maintain real-time tracking data.
Label bins clearly with corresponding order numbers and specific job names.
Load delivery trucks safely, securely, and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
Monitor daily inbound order lists within Rental Tracker to prepare for arriving returns.
Perform physical hand counts on all non-barcoded items to verify return quantities.
Scan returned gear back into the Rental Tracker system.
Inspect all gear thoroughly to confirm working condition before it is authorized for storage.
Restock equipment to its designated correct warehouse locations.
Report missing or unreturned gear immediately to the Rental Agent for tracking and billing.
Secure signatures on all checkout (Contract Sheet) and check-in (Checkin Sheet) paperwork.
Scan completed paperwork into the RTPro system for digital record-keeping.
Assist with physical inventory audits and routine cycle counts to maintain warehouse stock accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace at all times.
