About The Position

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machines in the rental fleet, including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment. Work ranges in scope from general repairs and maintenance, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel engines.

Requirements

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Documents all work performed on tablet technology, including completion of work orders to capture parts usage and labor, performing parts inventory counts, etc.
Performs advanced electrical system troubleshooting and repairs
Performs advanced hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs
Performs diesel engine troubleshooting and repairs
Performs troubleshooting and repairs on small engines, including fuel systems, oil and air filtration systems, ignition systems, etc.
Performs maintenance and repairs on trailers
Makes welding repairs to equipment and trailers
Performs aerial lift inspections according to required checklist
Checks GPS units on equipment and ensures they are activated and properly checking in, and troubleshoots with IT team as needed
Follows shop safety protocol, including proper storage of supplies and fuel, proper disposal of waste oils and fluids, and proper lifting and moving of materials and equipment
Safely operates forklift to load, unload, and move equipment and materials in the shop and yard
