Shop Service Technician

About The Position
This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Crown and other makes of lift trucks. The technician will also be responsible for performing all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks, processing paperwork after job completion, and performing welding and fabrication tasks.
Requirements
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals.
- Industry related training.
Responsibilities
