About The Position

Maybury is a Crown forklift dealer looking to add to our team of outstanding Shop Service Technicians in our East Longmeadow, MA facility. In this position, you will perform preps, repairs, and planned maintenance on forklifts, sweeper/scrubbers, scissor lifts, utility vehicles, and other material handling equipment. You will also be involved in the maintenance of industrial batteries and do refurbishments and restorations on this type of equipment.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability or aptitude to learn to read and interpret documents such as electrical wiring/hydraulic schematics and procedure manuals.
• Intermediate Windows, email and internet skills as well as great customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and good driving history is required.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an auto or diesel mechanic or maintenance, repair, or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preps, repairs, and planned maintenance on forklifts, sweeper/scrubbers, scissor lifts, utility vehicles, and other material handling equipment.
• Involved in the maintenance of industrial batteries.
• Perform refurbishments and restorations on industrial batteries.
